Solitary Slime - demo v.0.3
**OVERVIEW**
In this dark fantasy JRPG, your build defines everything. Master a layered combat system where passive synergies, dual-hit chains, and elemental proc reactions turn a single action into a tactical sequence. Grow stronger by consuming mysterious **Core Souls** and **Devour relics**—but every gain carries risk. Push too far, and your will may collapse into possession.
**KEY FEATURES**
- Advanced Passive Combat Stack: Build unique synergies with offensive/defensive procs, dual attacks, lifesteal, thorns, execute bonuses, mana shield, and health regen.
- Risk-Reward Progression: Core Soul possession risk, purification mechanics, and skill growth/overflow conversions.
- Chapter-Based Growth Caps: Scalable stat and resistance growth tuned to progression tiers.
- Codex & Archive Systems: Deep in-game discovery featuring Skill Codex, Lore Archive, and Item/Monster Codex with tracking counters.
- Customized MZ-Style Combat UX: Clean one-actor status panel, in-world enemy HP bars, and polished targeting flow.
**CONTROLS**
- Arrow Keys / WASD: Navigate / Move
- Enter / Z / Space: Confirm / Examine
- Esc / X: Cancel / Open Main Menu
- Mouse Wheel / Drag: Scroll Codex and Lore detail windows
**CONTENT WARNING**
Contains dark fantasy themes, corruption/possession motifs, and occasional battle flash effects.
💬 **WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK!**
As this is an early test build, your input is invaluable to us! We would love to hear your thoughts on:
1. **Combat Balance & Pacing:** How do the passive procs and enemy encounters feel?
2. **UI & Readability:** Is the custom one-actor battle interface clear and responsive?
